The VelectriX Foldaway Electric Folding Bike is perfect for someone wanting a compact, capable and comfortable electric bike. Featuring a low step-through folding frame, this bike is easy to get on and off of no matter your outfit, or even for those with mobility issues. The adjustable seat and handlebar heights and 110kg weight limit help this bike to fit a wide range of riders, and the in-built rear rack means you will always have a spot to store your bag, groceries, or whatever else you need to take with you! The 3-speed internal rear hub gearset offers you varying gears, while the internal nature of these gears protects them from the elements so they require less maintenance and upkeep. Add to this Tektro V brakes to offer terrific stopping power and the KMC rust-resistant chain with chain guard, this bike offers usability and ease of use in spades. The biggest feature of this bike is the ability to fold away for easy transport or storage, and the easy to use “2 fold” mechanism, make the VelectriX Foldaway Electric Folding Bike perfect for the weekend traveler, camper-van/caravan owner, uni student, city commuter, or for someone that is short of space (Folded dimensions 85cm L X 55cm W X 67cm H).
On top of these amazing features, the Foldaway isn’t just a bike, it’s an electric bike! with a 200 watt front hub motor to pull you up the hills, and 5 levels of pedal-assisted power, you can truly choose how much or how little this bike helps you. On top of that this bike is one of the rare legal throttle-controlled bikes meaning you can even choose not to pedal and let the bike do all the work for you! The motor is powered by a 313 watt hour battery to give you up to 40 kilometers of range before you need to charge it. And with the Smart Charger, this battery can recharge within 3 hours so you can get back on the road sooner. Weighing in at the lighter end of the e-bike range, the Foldaway is only 19.7kgs making it even easier to store and transport.
